It was Vesak day yesterday on 31st of May 2007. I believe that most of us were enjoying our public holiday in Singapore, unwinding and relaxing. Singapore is a multi-racial and multi-religion country; we are all very lucky to have the opportunity to experience different kinds of cultures, food and lifestyles. We have equality among all races and religions.
I believe that this is what makes Singapore so special, our unique blend of different cultures co-exists so harmoniously. I am personally proud of our country’s heritage and hope that this heritage will continue in many years to come..
