I have just caught the repeat telecast of this year US Open final between Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic. It was a tennis match that is worth watching. In my personal opinion, both players played very well. The game ended with world no.1 tennis player Roger Federer winning the game in straight sets, 7-6, 7-6, 6-4.
It was not an easy victory by Roger Federer though as Novak Djokovic had put up a tough fight. However, I guess luck was on Federer side yesterday with Novak Djokovic missing many important points in the game. Novak Djokovic lack of experience in grand slam finals also contributed in his lost yesterday against Federer.
I started watching tennis only this year. I caught the Australia open that was played in the beginning of this year, followed by French Open, Wimbledon and US open. Initially, it was Roger Federer’s good sportsmanship and excellent tennis skills that attracted me to watching tennis. However, along the way, I manage to learn to appreciate the different game style of other tennis players as well.
I have played tennis quite a couple of times. However, most of the time, I ended up picking up the tennis ball instead of hitting it. To me, tennis is a fun game that requires a lot of skills and precision. I do look forward to my next tennis game with my friends and definitely also the Australia Open beginning of next year. In short, I feel that fun sports make exercising easy.
