Do you know how to hold hands with your girl/boy friend?

When you have a boyfriend or a girlfriend, there comes a time when you feel the urge to hold their hands. It’s normal to show affection and love to your partner. Find out more on how to hold hands, and how to react to your partner if they don’t seem to want to.

Steps:

Find someone to hold hands with.
Visualize how it will feel. If you are nervous, think of how good it will feel if the other person holds back.
Take a hold of the other person’s hand. While sitting, standing or walking next to that person, grasp his or her hand and lightly squeeze.
Wait for a return squeeze. If they squeeze back, most times, they enjoy your company and don’t mind you holding their hand.
Use a hand-holding method. There are two approaches to hold another person’s hand.
You can just grasp their hand and hold it.
Interlock fingers, which sometimes takes some work, but because the other person is holding on too, you can stay holding hands longer.
If you’re absolutely sure that the person you held hands with is enjoying your company, look at him or her straight in the eyes and smile subtly. Then, show them that you really like them, by squeezing harder.

Tips

Most times, the simple grasp of the hand will do but a more "intimate" way to hold hands is the interlocking finger grasp.
With very young kids, offer them your finger for them to grasp their tiny hand around.
If you can feel your hand starting to sweat, let go of his or her hand and hold his or her other hand.
For hot days, consider linking pinkies instead so you get that intimate connection without those sweaty palms.
Smile a lot. Girls and guys love to see a lovely smile.
Try not to hold hands with someone you like when you are freezing, because cold hands can be a major turn-off.
Use the "my hands are so cold" line if you have the problem above. It will give you more of a reason to hold their hand.
If you and the other person have already had some experience holding hands together, it’s a good idea to keep repeating the process and letting each other know when you want to have your hand held.
You can also ask her whether you can hold her hands or not
Make sure to keep your hands soft. Apply a hand lotion daily, but not right before holding hands because it can often come off as clammy or cold.
If he/she is nervous, try to bring it up in conversation. If they want to, then they’ll take the initiative and grab your hand! If you are nervous, then try touching their arm lightly, and slowly progress to holding hands.
(For girls) In the theater, let your hand drop over to his side on the armrest. He’ll notice and get the hint that you want it held.

Warnings

If they don’t hold back, it may be very embarrassing for both you and the person you are with! Make sure they really like you!
If they pull away then this may be a sign that they are not ready to hold hands so don’t keep trying to hold his/her hand!
If your hands get sweaty it’s a big turn off so switch hands OR don’t hold them that long!

A true story

A true story

I was on my way to a friend’s place the other day. It was around10 at night and I was sitting at a bus stop in front of “HELPING HAND”.

“The Helping Hand was founded in 1987 as a Christian halfway house for the rehabilitation and aftercare of ex-drug addicts. As of 2006, we have opened our doors to ex-criminal offenders as well. The Helping Hand is a registered Voluntary Welfare Organization (VWO) in Singapore.”

As I stared at the glary lights, trying to catch my bus, a taxi suddenly came to a halt in front of the bus stop. For a moment I thought that the taxi driver was trying to see if I need a cab. As a look further into the cab, I saw a lady sitting in the front seat with 2 children at the back seat. She had a sad face and she was starring into the buildings of Helping Hands. The Taxi driver just drove very slowly past the bus stop.

It seems as though the man the lady loves is in the building, trying his best to quit his drug addiction. It saddened me to see such a scene. When we take drugs, those who were hurt most are usually the ones who truly love us.

Singapore wants to become a drug free country and I look forward to a drug free society. I admire the love of the lady for her man. So, let’s not make the people around us sad by doing foolish acts such as taking drugs.

Love is never a word but an action. Have you been trying to tell the one you love how much you treasure him/her? If not, tell your loves one that you truly treasure them TODAY!!

Love is a strange thing. It can be the most amazing feeling in the world, or it can really hurt, but in the end love is something most, if not all of us, will face. While there are many different ways to define love and there are many different ways to love someone (even yourself), here is a general guide to loving. Love is the continual act of unconditionally putting the needs of others before your own.

Say it.
Empathize
Love unconditionally
Expect nothing in return.
Realize it can be lost

It does not make you a bad person to desire someone else’s love, even if they do not love you. However, to truly love someone, you must let them be free. It is selfish to blame them for your feelings.

A girl won’t cry easily, except in front of the person she loves the most…she becomes weak…

A girl won’t cry easily, only when she loves you the most, she will put aside her ego.

Guys, if a girl cries because of you, please hold her hands firmly and let her know that she’s the one who would stay with you for the rest of your life.

If a girl cries because of you, please don’t give her up as your decision may ruin her life.
